How do I set up notifications for follow-ups in SuperOffice CRM?

I want to be reminded about the follow-ups that I have created in my SuperOffice-diary. How do I set up the reminders?

To be notified (get reminders) about upcoming follow-up activities registered in your SuperOffice CRM diary you should:

  • Have SuperOffice Web Tools is installed and configured. This FAQ explains how to do it.

  • Set up a reminder on the follow-up when you create a follow-up.

Please follow the steps below to create a follow-up with a reminder:

  1. Start by creating a follow-up. You can either click + New and then Appointment (1) or Phone Call (2) or the + Add (3) button on the Activities tab.

  2. Then click on Details (1) and select the box next to Alarm (2). Enter how many minutes before the appointment the alarm with the reminder should appear. Click Save (3) to complete.

Please be aware that:

  1. You can use different time formats: days, hours and minutes - to specify exactly how much time before the appointment a reminder should appear. If you want to configure a reminder to be displayed a few days before the appointment, enter the time in the following format, for example 1d 2h 35m.

  2. The earliest reminder in SuperOffice Online and Web can be set up so that it comes up 22 d. 18h. 07 min; while the earliest reminder in SuperOffice Windows can be set to 45 d. 3. When the time for the reminder arrives, an alarm dialog opens which contains information about the company, date, time, type, priority and place to which the follow-up is linked. This dialog contains the following options: Click OK (1) to confirm that you have seen the information. Click View (2) to open the follow-up dialog and view more information. Click Remind me in 5 minutes (3) and click OK to repeat the alarm.

  3. For alarms (reminders) to work in a different time zone than your default time, the time zone setting must be turned on.

  4. You can configure SuperOffice CRM preference that will always fill in the same time before the alarm once you select that follow-up should have an alarm.

This can be done either in personal favorites in the Diary (1) section, next to Alarm start before follow-up (2), by entering how many minutes before a follow-up the reminder should appear and become visible. Or it can be done in the Web Tools Favorite dialog by checking next to Show alarm for all appointments ... minutes before and enter the number of minutes in the blank field.

You can configure when an alarm signal should stop by entering the time next to the Silent after option (3).

  5. There is no out of the box tool allowing to set up a reminder automatically for all new follow-ups. Please see this wish report as a reference,
