How do I change an e-mail signature for all our SuperOffice CRM users?

We are using SuperOffice CRM Onsite and I would like to change an e-mail signature for all our SuperOffice CRM users all at once. How do I do it?

To change an e-mail signature to all SuperOffice CRM users, please follow the steps below:

Step 1. Set the default e-mail signature

Step 2. Adjust personal signature files

Step 1. Set the default e-mail signature

First of all, create a system signature. This signature will be assigned automatically to all SuperOffice CRM users that do not have a personal signature created  Please follow the steps below:

  1. Click on  and then the Edit system signature option.

Note! You will see this option only when you are an administrator and in Local Settings, the main e-mail client is set to SuperOffice CRM.

  2. Edit a default e-mail signature and click on the Save button.

Step 2. Adjust personal signature files

Some users might already have the personal signature created in their SuperOffice CRM. To prevent every person adjusting the signature individually, you can make an adjustment in the SuperOffice installation files, which will make all users have a system (default) signature, which you created in the previous step.

  1. Open the SuperOffice archive folder on the SuperOffice server. In a typical SuperOffice installation, the folder is called SO Arc and it is placed in the SuperOffice Installation folder. Example: C:\SuperOffice\SO_ARC\

  2. You will find folders with SuperOffice user initials, these folders are individual user's document archives.

  3. Open each folder one by one and check if there is a template called mail (as the screenshot below). This file stores a personal signature, you can either delete it or rename it (if you don't want to lose the content). Please see the example below:

    Before rename:

    After rename:

  4. After renaming the file, the user will automatically get a default system signature.
